Guyana orange spotted roach (Blaptica dubia)

Dubia roach is considered as one of the best staple diet insects in the hobby.
Generally, its movement is slow, however, when threatened, it can stand still (as a rock) for a long period of time.
For that reason some animals can lose interest and overlook them, so it is advised to turn Dubia on its back when feeding to your pet. Grown Dubia roach is ideal food for large tarantulas, beardies and monitor lizards.
Diet: exotic fruit, carrots, cat food

Origin: Central America, Venezuela, Guyana, Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina
